When this sweet family welcomed their newest little love, they also realized their entryway needed to grow with them. Three tiny humans means three sets of shoes, backpacks, jackets, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with a full home.
So we designed a custom storage solution that works just as hard as they do.
This handcrafted built-in by Toto Crafted Living creates a warm, welcoming moment the second you walk through the door. The solid wood bench gives the girls a place to sit while putting on (or kicking off) their shoes. The upper cabinets and open cubbies keep everyday essentials organized. And when life gets a little messy? Close the doors and the clutter disappears.
Where Craftsmanship Meets Home
The project began with the careful selection of premium oak slabs, chosen for their grain movement, tone, and natural character. Each slab was thoughtfully assembled and precision-crafted to create a seamless surface that feels cohesive while still honoring the individuality of the wood. The scale of the table demanded meticulous attention to proportion, structure, and balance—ensuring it would anchor the space without overwhelming it.
The rich blue tone and brass hardware were intentionally chosen to mirror their kitchen cabinetry — creating flow, cohesion, and that polished custom feel throughout the home.
